Yes, apart from the government-funded scholarships, the university provides special fee concessions for physically disabled candidates. According to the Government of Tamil Nadu order, Bharathidasan University has exempted the Tuition fees and Special fees for students with disabilities.

Bharathidasan University does provide partial fee refund upon cancellation of BSc admissions by the students. Tabulated below is the refund amount and the criteria to be fulfilled to be eligible for the refund.

Fee Refund amount

Eligibility criteria

50% of the Tuition fees alone be refunded

For Discontinuing the Course within 30 Calendar days from the date of admission and without attending Live Classes.

No refund

For discontinuing the course thereafter, with or without attending any Live Classes.

The latest DU BSc placements statistics are not available as of now. As per the NIRF report 2024, out of 266 UG three-year students, 190 were placed. The median package offered was INR 5.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters of the university in the recent past have been Dell, Google, Gartner, Amazon, Barclays, etc.

Bharathidasan University BSc Placements 2024 report is not out yet. However, as per NIRF Overall report 2024, a total of 57 students were placed during Bharathidasan University UG-3 year placements. Further, the median package offered to UG 3-year students stood at INR 1.8 LPA.
