KGMU BSc admission 2026 is entirely entrance-based as the University accepts the scores of UP CNET. Candidates seeking admission to the KGMU BSc must go through the multiple-stage process. Given below is the KGMU BSc admission process:

STEP 1: Application Process

Visit the official website of the University, fill out the application form and pay the KGMU BSc application fees. They must also apply for UP CNET.

STEP 2: Selection Criteria

Appear for the Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test (UP CNET).

STEP 3: Counselling and Admission Confirmation

Merit lists are prepared by the University and selected candidates must register and participate in the counselling process. The final step of KGMU admission process is to pay KGMU BSc Nursing fees.

The Selection Panel undertakes the objective, transparent and ethical selection process primarily based on applicant’s academic record only. The following Selection Criteria is followed to avail KGMU BSc scholarships:
Step 1: Apply before the closing date mentioned on KGMU website. 
Step 2: Apply before the professional examination.
Step 3: Submit the following duly attested documents to the gazette officer along with the application form in both online and hard copy as mentioned below: 

• Passport Size Photograph
• Proof Of Date of Birth
• Class 12 marksheet
• Caste Certificate
• Aadhaar Card

Step 4: All screening and administration of application is administered by the office of Dean Student Welfare.
Step 5: After the primary screening of the original documents, applicants are asked to present in DSW office on specified date for documents verification.
Step 6: The primary shortlisted candidates list is displayed on KGMU website before the professional examinations and final awardees are selected based of marks of the professional examination after approval of Controller of Examination, COE, KGMU.

KGMU BSc scholarships are offered to meritorious students by the University in the form of financial assistance. This financial assistance is provided so that meritorious students can meet the University fees and part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing studies. Given below are KGMU BSc scholarships offered to the students:

• Financial Aid for needy UG students (In Campus Part-Time Jobs)
• Student Scholarship and Other Welfare Schemes
• Scholarship Scheme under Dean Student Welfare where the meritorious students are awarded by the University for holding First, Second and, Third positions in professional examination of each discipline. Students can avail financial assistance of upto INR 10,000/ pa and exemption of University tuition fees.
