B.Tech CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) is often better positioned for placements at Dr. Subhash University. This is due to the fact that CSE is a more popular branch in the sector, hence most firms will first think of hiring graduates from that field.

Admission to BTech courses at both NITs are done through valid score in accepted entrance exams such as CAT, JEE Main, GATE etc. Both colleges are very good in their own way. Both colleges provide remarkable engineering courses such as CSE programme to its students which help them to sought in top companies during placements. Both colleges have world class infrastructure. Both colleges have highly qualified and experienced faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. Hence, which one is better college or university depends on what the person is actually looking for in a particular college/university, or institute.

Seacom Skills University cutoff 2024 has been released for WBJEE, on the basis of which admission to the BE/BTech courses takes place. As per the WBJEE cutoff 2024, the closing rank ranged between 28838 and 100001 for the students belonging to the General category under the AI quota. Among all the BTech specilisations, CSE was the least competitive course at Seacom Skills University. So, yes, with a 100001 rank in WBJEE, candidates can get into Seacom Skills University. However, they have to wait till the last round, as the cutoff ranks were more competitive in the first round for admission. So, it is advisable to wait till the last round to secure a seat at this institute.
