B.Tech in CSE will give you more exposure towards software as well as hardware of computers. And, IT will only focuses on software. So, recruiters will mostly hire students from CSE over IT. So, I will suggest you to opt for B.Tech in CSE at NIT-Surathykal. All the best.

Hey,
Chitkara University does provide options for B.Tech in CSE but there is no specific sub-field as AI. No doubt, AI got a great scope in coming time, but you ought to put your efforts learning the skill. Talking about placements, Chitkara manages to achieve 100% placement especially for CSE batch till now as many good companies visit the campus.
Rest between Chitkara and UPES, it is your call.

Karnataka will be best for CSE as there are more opportunities than west Bengal because one reason is that banglore is now emerging as software hub of the country, so placements are better than west Bengal. All d best.

Hi,
B.Tech is a more comprehensive course and includes lot of subjects + lots of practical and has a subset from the BCA course syllabus too. BCA helps to build programming skills for developing software/website/cloud/mobile applications. English and Mathematics being compulsory subjects in previous study. However, scope wise B.Tech graduates could have relatively more flexibility in the positions and also the pay. BCA is a great platform for higher studies such as MCA. But B.Tech can still act as a standalone course and su

About NMIT, placement wing:
Again, if you are in CS IS or ECE branch, then be sure that you will get placed as these have 100% placement, and sorry if you are from other branch, you will have to struggle a lot. The average package is about INR 4 Lacs to INR 5 Lacs and the maximum package received by any student is INR 18 Lacs, which was provided by Subex. Some of the good companies which come are Microsoft. 4/10
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facility is terrible in my sense. First year, hostel is okay, as it has 2 person per room and most of the thing is okay, but the main problem in first year hostel is that they close the hostel gate at
