You can if your marksheet mentions that you are pass. Also, you can not go for B.Tech branch that has Maths as its basic eligibility. You can go for a branch like Biotech, Food tech., etc. Where Maths is replaced by biology. Check out with some good universities like LPU, SRM, VIT, etc., offering various specializations in B.Tech. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of your marks in class 12th. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE or even during the course. All these universities offer world class learning atmosphere to students along with good placements.

I've done my undergraduate here. I belong to the first outgoing batch of the university. So, I think I know more about the university than anybody else. There are many things I want to specify but I will try to keep it short.
Academic rules:
Attendance, internal marks, and detentions. These things constantly change from batch to batch. Y-9 batch had no course wise detentions until 3rd year. Y-10 batch didn't have course wise detention in the 1st semester.
Y-11 and Y-12 batches have this new internals rule.
Y-13 batch has to satisfy their prerequisites.
2. Grading:
Grade points differ from batch to batch.
Y9, Y-10 and Y-11 batch.
X-10
A-8.9
B-7.8
C-6.7
D-4.6
For Y-11 batch, I only know the grade points.
Infrastructure:
We can in no way use our university's infrastructure to the fullest because there are a lot of rules to be followed.
The canteen in the college, it doesn't have enough space to accommodate students. Moreover, the food in the canteen doesn't seem hygienic.
Sports facilities:
Most of the students here are not at all involved in sports. So, they know very less or nothing about it. The ground here is very bad. You frequently get your leg sprained if you try to run.
They don't provide us with enough sports equipment. So, even if you want to play, you won't be able to play.
