A Bio student is not eligible to pursue a BTech in computer science following their 12th studies in India as of 2024, according to a UGC and AICTE. Mathematics, physics, and chemistry are required courses for all applicants to BTech engineering institutes.

Sapthagiri NPS University offers BTech in Computer Science and Engineering via its School of Engineering & Technology as a full-time course. The eligibility criteria for the CSE course are Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biology/CS/IT/Biotech with a minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories).

The latest BTech CSE placement data is not released. However, updated till May 2025, highest package offered to BTech CSE students in 2025 was 12.5 LPA. Average package was 9.45 LPA. Thgis data is subject to change.

The 2025 cutoff for the BTech in CSE programme at MNR University has not been released yet. However, the cutoff for the academic year 2023 decreased compared to 2021, indicating an increase in the competition level.
