Candidates must be eligible to take the Andhra Pradesh government's Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. Admission is determined by Andhra Pradesh EAMCET ranks 70% of seats are filled through counselling, and 30% are filled by management quota. Candidates must have a valid Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank or 60% in 10+2.

Diploma holders or B.Sc. graduates must have a valid TS ECET score in order to be eligible for lateral entrance into the second year Merit-based admission is determined by entrance exam scores.

M.E./B.E. For Malla Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad students must have passed 12 from any board with minimum aggregate of 45% At the stage of first round of admission it is primarily based on entrance exams like TS EAMCET or JEE (Main ) and later called for counselling. Also, 70% are filled via TS EAMCET and the remaining 30 of the seats come through direct admissions based on counselling category.

To join B.E./B.Tech at SRIT, candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, scoring at least 45% (General) or 40% (reserved). Admission is through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling by Anna University. Direct admission is usually not available.
