No, your rank does not change your fees. Merit ranks generated via the JEE Main entrance exam are exclusively used to determine branch selection and seat eligibility during allocation. Once admitted, your tuition fee relies entirely on government social category waivers and annual family income slabs: 

  • SC / ST / PwD Candidates: 100% full tuition fee waiver automatically applied.

  • Family Income Below INR 1 Lakh/Year: 100% full tuition fee remission.

  • Family Income Between INR 1 Lacs - INR 5 Lakhs/Year: 2/3rd tuition fee remission.

The complete fee for a regular 4-year B.Tech programme at the Institute of Technology Management, Aligarh (ITM Aligarh) ranges from INR 2,44,800 to INR 2,74,325 for the entire course duration.  

Annual Tuition Fee: Approximately INR 61,200 per year.

Students who wish to withdraw their admission will get a refund based on the fee refund policy after writing an application to the Dean (academic). Given below is the fee refund policy of NIT Patna:

Category of Withdrawal/Cancellation of Admission

Refund Amount

During counselling but before admission at NIT Patna

Refund as per the JoSAA/ CSAB rules

After admission at NIT Patna

No refund of fees, except examination fee and caution money.

Candidates who receive educational funds, stipends, or financial assistance from the government or private organizations are automatically disqualified from university grants. Such students must plan to manage and pay the standard tuition and applicable academic fees for BTech programme at JECRC University independently.
