You are eligible for the Karnataka quota, as you have done B.Tech from there. You are also eligible for the domicile quota, if you apply somewhere else.

After completing your Diploma, you can join B-Tech course by just appearing in the Karnataka LEET. As you are coming after completing your Diploma in mechanical, so you will be able to get admission in 2nd year mechanical directly. So, start preparations for the same. Best of luck.
