The selection process for the BTech programme at BMS College of Engineering includes the following criteria:

1. Eligibility requires candidates to have completed Class 12 and PUC with a minimum aggregate of 50%, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and English as one of the languages.
2. The selection is based on two options: KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by KEA along with KEA Counselling. 
3. COMED-K entrance exam along with COMED-K Counselling. Overall, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements and participate in either the KCET or COMED-K entrance exams, followed by the respective counseling process for admission to the BTech programme at BMS College of Engineering.

BMS College of Engineering BTech cutoff 2023 for B.E in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was 1903 for SC and 1903 for ST category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in COMEDK, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female. 

BMS College of Engineering offers a four-year BE programme across 18 specialisations. The popular ones are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering etc. The fee and seat intake vary from one specialisation to another. BMS College Of Engineering BTech cutoff 2024 has been announced across multiple specialisations. The cutoff was released as opening and closing ranks for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories. Based on the COMEDK 2024 cutoff in Round 3, the closing ranks ranged between 3716 and 70805 for the students belonging to the General category. Among all the BTech specialsiations, Computer Science & Technology turned out to be the most demanded courses. For SC and ST categories, the COMEDK cutoff is not available.
