If you pursue mechatronics, you can apply in mechanical as well as electrical engineering for higher studies and for a job too. But there is not any separate exam for mechatronics engineering to get a job such as GATE. Some of PSUs conduct its own exam for recruitment.

Hi Austin Paul, first decide where to study. Different countries have different admission requirements. Also every university has its specific requirement. Scholarships are given by the foreign universities on the basis of merit. If you have a good profile then they will give you scholarship. Check here

Yes, you can do m.tech aeronautical engineering after B.Tech mechatronics.
In Mechatronics, you should have came across basis mechanical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics, strength of materials, statics and dynamics of machinery etc., which is useful when you pursue your Masters in aeronautics.
