You are eligible to apply for a lateral entry. But not all colleges have such window. Look for a college that have a window.

Hello Bharat, I feel you should bid for admission in an engineering college after your 12th. Every state has good colleges. In addition there are some private Universities also where you can seek admission. So start preparing for CET of your state.

Hello Bharat, The fees charged by each IIT is different. Also charges for hostel to vary from IIT to IIT. However as a rule of thumb one can say that total expenses may come to about Rs.2-3 L PA.
