No, to get admission to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme at Banaras Hindu University you need to appear in an entrance exam: Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). BHU doesn't conduct a separate entrance exam for BA programs anymore.

Generally speaking, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) does not make public the precise cutoff scores for BVoc (Bachelor of Vocation) courses. Banaras Hindu Univeraity is situated in Banaras and it is one of the top- most university of India. It is very famous for its specialisation course. The courses offered by the university are B.Sc, BA, B.E, M.Sc etc. BHU gives admission on the basis of entrance exam. BHU accepts the score of CUET UG and CUET PG for admission purpose.

Yes, it is necessary that the candidates seeking admission to BA Hons in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics studied Maths in the qualifying examination. For other specialisations, candidates without maths in Class 12 shall also be eligible to apply. For verification purposes. Candidates also have to provide the academic certificates during form filling and admission confirmation or counselling.
