RV Institute of Technology and Management admit candidates based on performance in KCET/ COMEDK. The cutoff list is released following the exam result. Candidates who meet the RVITM BE cutoff become eligible for seat allotment. In 2024, the second round closing rank for the general All-India category candidates was 10066 for CSE, 13924 for Information Science and Engineering, and 15188 for ECE. Considering the last three years' cutoff data, a declining trend is observed.
