There is nothing like "This field is good for women and that is not". For Marketing; there are many girls who are doing PGDM in this sector. However, for field job, probably yes. Because this is the first stage of direct customer interaction. And all the candidates in marketing feild have to go from this phase. If you are able to showcase your convincing, communication, personal selling skills, to recruiter then you will essentially be promoted to decision making position. And these skills you can gather by doing more and more internships and live project by startup and company. But you shouldn't afraid to go for field work, because that is the big plus point for marketing career. Coming onto Finance, unless there is financial sales (like insurance), I don't find any such field work. So Nidhi, based on overall, my suggestion is that you should to pursue white your interest lies and where you when to make your career.
