Probably, you are asking for CFA-L2. For that, you need at least 4 years of experience at analyst level. Hence, if you were employed at PSU as a finance or analyst level, your experience can be considered.

For a career in Banking and Finance, you may do a course like B.Com M.Com BBA MBA, etc. , which generally have basic Maths for accounting papers. This Maths is not as tough as the ones used in Science and engineering and is easily understandable. So, don't be afraid of Maths, if you really have a passion for working in the field. All the best.
