Hi Hitansh,Finance is one of the best industries now. Chances of getting a job is high, but equally very competitive in Singapore. You must do very well in your academics and network with companies. A good internship is a must. Try to get into NUS or SMU, since they are the main universities there with the biggest industry tie-ups. ESSEC is a foreign university with its campus in Singapore.

Hope you have 55-60 percent in/upto graduation if you are dreaming a domain core finance job.You are requested to check it from the Quora alumni. And your concept of asking is wrong,do not ask about the average package, ask about in hand salary or take home salary and job profile (what exactly you have to do, is it core domain related job profile of financial sales. Also, ask about job stability. In our time, 2-years ago, it was an average decent or not so bad ,do not expect too much in core finance job profile. Check the present situation from LinkedIn alumni also(not from current students).

Hi Ankit!
It depends on your interest if you want to make a career in management or banking. Unless MBA is pursued from a premier institution, I recommend you to join the Bank. If you got admission for MBA in a reputed university, it is undoubtedly the better option. Pursuing MBA in Finance will also give you a good career push and a better designation in a Bank and other financial institutions.

Each field is good, it depends on your interest, but in case of placements, marketing is the best option in comparison to other specialisations and the next best option is finance followed by human resources.
