Bachelor of Computer Application is the junior of Bachelors in IT or engineering. I said it junior is because it is a three year degree which makes it more like a traditional degree than a professional one. It is less of practices then doing a B.Tech and as you yourself know it is easy to get admission into this. The same is the case of jobs based on BCA. If you get less time in technical skills development, you know less and job is though to get. BCA, however, is such a good degree that by giving one year less then B.Tech, one can easily get the same job as a B.Tech or BE if the computer skills are very well learned.

Hi,
It is a personal choice based on your budget, career plans, your profile, admission requirements of the universities. Also, you won't find a BCA degree abroad, you will find applied computing, software engineering, computer science, etc.
