SNDT College BCA programme admission is based on candidates qualifying the eligibilty crietria. BCA eligibility is tabulated below:

Class 12 examination conducted by different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to Reserved category) with the following subjects :- (from any stream).

  • English
  • Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any classical Language or Information Technology/ Any four subjects carrying 100 marks each.

Class 12 examination with the Minimum Competency based vocational courses (MCVC) conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

  • English
  • Any one of the Modern Indian Languages or Modern Foreign Languages or any classical
  • Language or Information Technology
  • General Foundation Course.
  • Any one subject carrying 300 marks from among the Minimum Competency based vocational courses prescribed by the Higher Secondary School Certificate examination from time to time.

You can take BCA if your optional subject is mathematics . But some colleges also allowed without mathematics .  BCA is best option if you want your future in tech without having pcm background. Best wishes for you?

Cutoffs are subject to change every year. BCA latest cutoff rank is not available. The cutoff rank required to get an admission at Graphic Era Hill University differs for each category of student. Follow the given steps to get the cutoff ranks:

Admission to BCA course at Jain Deemed-to-be University, School of Allied Healthcare and Sciences is entirely entrance-based. Candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria before applying for the course. The university conducts JET exam for admission to BCA course. Futher, PI and GD rounds are conducted for the final admission.

Yes, you can. This also depends on the college you're aiming for. Some colleges prefer Maths as a compulsory subject in 10+2. Please note that regardless of the stream, English is one of the core requirements in almost all colleges for BCA admissions.
