SMIT Sikkim offers BCA (three years), a four-year BCAwith Banking, and a five-year integrated BCA + MBA programme. The curriculum for the general BCA course is spread across six semesters. Below are some of the subjects included in the BCA curriculum:

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology follows seat reservation policies according to the Sikkim government. Moreover, SMIT does offer seat reservations for Sikkim students in the BCA course. The institute offers 20% reservation of seats in BCA course.

To get a seat in the BCA course at SMIT Sikkim, Manipal University, candidates are required to complete the basic eligibility criteria, apply online through the official website of the institute/download the application form, get on the merit list, and pay for the course fee. Yes, candidates are allowed to apply for the BCA course provisionally at SMIT Sikkim, Manipal Institute of Technology, before the release of Class 12 results. Therefore, candidates who are appearing in Class 12 can also apply for the BCA course through the official website of SMIT, Sikkim. Further, once Class 12 results are announced, candidates can attach the relevant documents in the application form afterwads.

Admissions to SMIT BCA programmes are open early, and students are encouraged to apply early since the institute has limited seats. Applicants can apply before appearing for their final exams. The admissions committee will take into account the marks of previous years/exams in processing the applications. Applicants who receive offer letters can join with a provisional admission and submit their results later. To retain their admission, students must have received a minimum of 55% in a board recognised by the Government of India.
