No, it's not.
There is no as such standardized regulatory body governing the certification or licensing of yoga teachers in India. But there are many recognised yoga teacher training courses offered by yoga colleges. They provide certifications upon completion. These certifications are often sufficient for you to start teaching yoga professionally.

Indeed, the Netaji Subhas Open University offers yoga courses leading to a diploma. This course lasts for a full year. The eligibility of course is 10+2. You should at least get 60% marks in 12th grade final exam. Six modules will be studied in this course. The components consist of:
