Diploma in Cosmetology eligibility depends on the Diploma level. In India, you can pursue UG Diploma, PG Diploma, and also After 10th Diploma. Hence, for PG Diploma, you need to obtain a bachelor's degree in a relevant displine, similarly, for a UG Diploma, you must have Class 12 scores from a recognised board.

Previously, it was similar to a beautician course but Cosmetology courses involve nail care and hair care as well. These courses are mainly professional courses that prepare the students for the beauty industry, though both cosmetology and beautician courses are similar in nature.

If one has a bent for Yoga then it is always a good idea to pursue a Diploma or graduation in Yoga after class 12thv. A Diploma course takes a little time (1-2 years) and is more on training or practical experience, a graduation course takes more time (3-4 years) and more on knowledge and theory. undefined
If your goal is to teach Yoga or work in wellness centres, a Diploma might let you into the job.
