As per the Supreme Court judgment, AICTE accreditation is not necessary required for universities. Therefore, Bennett University is also not required to have a formal accreditation by AICTE. However, the University follows all the norms prescribed by AICTE. Bennett University is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission) and is recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO). .

Located in Greater Noida, it is a private research educational university that offers a wide range of UG, PG, doctoral and PG Diploma courses in the field of Engineering, Arts, Law, Mass Communication and Management. It also has a relatively smaller student body, which can result in more personal learning experiences for students. VIT is a larger university with a more established reputation. Bennett University has a good placement record for B.Tech in CSE students. In the recent placement season, the highest package offered to students was around INR 1.2 crore per annum, while the average package offered was INR 11.1 LPA. More than 190 companies participated in the placement drive at Bennett University, and over 90% of students were placed in top companies, namely Aditya Birla, HDFC Bank, HCL, and others.
