Candidates seeking admission in ME programme of BVCOE Mumbai must have a valid GATE score for admission. Aspirants after appearing for the entrance tests are offered seats based on their rank. Admission is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). There are 3 rounds of Maharashtra M.Tech counselling.  Selected candidates need to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.

Yes, candidates belonging to Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section or Persons with Disability from Maharashtra State are eligible for 5% relaxation in the aggregate. Such candidates need to pass HSC or its equivalent examination in relevant subjects with at least 40% aggregate for BE programme. For ME, aspirants from Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State should complete graduation with at least 45% aggregate.

Candidates seeking admission at BVCOE Mumbai have to register for CAP or Centralised Admission Process conducted by the Government of Maharashtra after appearing for any of the accepted entrance exams. The seats are offered to candidates through various CAP rounds. In case of vacant seats after CAP, students can register for institute-level Spot Round. The remaining seats are offered to aspirants through the Spot Round. There is a separate application form for Spot Counselling.

The course-wise salary offered is yet to be released. However, the the highest and average package offered during BVCOE placements 2023 stood at INR 27 LPA and INR 7.8 LPA, respectively. Further, the placement rate recorded during BVCOE placements 2023 was 95%. Apart from this, a total of 65 companies visited the campus during BVCOE placements 2023.
