Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering admissions are entrance-based. Candidates are offered a seat at the college based on their score in national or state-level entrance exams. The college accepts JEE Main or MHT CET scores for BE admission. For ME, selection is based on GATE scores. Selected candidates have to participate in CAP rounds conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for seat allotment. For ME, seats are allotted through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Maharashtra MTech Counselling.

The college accepts scores in MHT CET, GATE or JEE Main for specific programmes. The course-wise salary offered is yet to be released. However, the the highest and average package offered during BVCOE placements 2023 stood at INR 27 LPA and INR 7.8 LPA, respectively. Further, the placement rate recorded during BVCOE placements 2023 was 95%. Apart from this, a total of 65 companies visited the campus during BVCOE placements 2023.

BVCOE Pune BE admission is based on the applicants' MHT CET/JEE Main scores. Hence, the first step in the admission procedure is to apply for one of these exams. The MHT CET application window is usually open between Decemeber and February. The JEE Main exam is conducted in two sessions. The application process for the Session 1 and Session 2 exams starts around October and February, respectively.

Further, candidates with a valid exam score must register for MHT CET counselling for seat allocation. The registration process for the MHT CET CAP usually starts around July every year.

BVCOE Pune BE admission is granted to applicants with a valid, non-zero score in MHT CET or JEE Main. The exact dates for these exams vary from year to year. Based on the previous years' trends, MHT CET is usually conducted in April. The application process for the same is usually conducted between December and February.

On the other hand, JEE Main is conducted twice every year. The first session is conducted in January and the secod session is conducted in April.

According to the reviews, approximately 70-80% of students get placed in various companies. The salary package offered across various BE specialisations over the past few years ranged from INR 3 LPA to INR 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is around INR 5 LPA to INR 6 LPA. Tata, Flipkart, Amazon, Airtel, etc. are some of the top recruiting companies.

In the field of Engineering, a full-time Bachelor of Engineering or BE. It is a four-year programme which is considered similar to a BTech. The UG-level programme is offered in the following four AICTE-approved specialisations:

  • Computer Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Yes, BVCOE Pune offers lateral entry admissions directly to the second year of BE. The duration of a BE (lateral entry) courses is three years. Direct second-year admission is subject to fulfilment of the following eligibility criteria: 

  1. Candidates must be an Indian National;
  2. They must have passed a relevant BSc/ Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories, EWS and PWD belonging to Maharashtra State only) in an appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute/university;
