For admission to the BHM course, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria at Vedatya Institute is based on Aptitude Test + PI. Apart from this, the eligibility criteria for the course is Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate (in best 4 subjects).

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) programme at VMSIIHE, candidates must have passed their 10+2 or an equivalent examination from any recognised board in India or abroad. There is no specific stream requirement, so students from any discipline (Science, Commerce, or Arts) can apply. Following the academic qualifications, the admission process involves filling out an application form, undergoing a written examination, and attending a personal interview or group discussion. Candidates with valid UGAT or JEE scores are exempt from the written test.

JB Institute of Hospitality Management offers a three-year UGC recognised BHM course. The primary Hotel Management curriculum includes Hotel Administration, office operations Accommodation Operations, Food and Beverage Operations, Food production, Catering and Maintenance curriculum, etc.

The total tuition fee for BHM at BFIT Dehradun ranges from INR 99 K to INR 1.2 L based on the specialisation. These charges cover tuition, laboratory fees, and access to other facilities. Scholarships are available based on academic performance at BFIT so that more able students may benefit from the programme on a reduced-fee basis.
