MGSU Bikaner campus is spread across 1100 acres of land, and is located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Maharaja Ganga Singh University offers scholarships to encourage meritorious students and academic excellence. It also offers scholarships to students belonging to the reserved category as per the government guidelines. Scholarships offered at MGSU Bikaner are:

• Post-matric Scholarship is a centrally sponsored scheme, implemented by State Government. It provides financial assistance to students belonging to ST, SC, OBC/SEBC/EBC, pursuing higher education at post-secondary stage.

Ganga University Bikaner has an active placement cell that provides placement assistance to the interested students who wish to seek jobs in their respective sectors. The 2024 placement reports of Odisha Open University for MSc have not been released yet. However, as per the AQAR report, the the highest package offered during MGSU Bikaner placements 2022 was INR 5.71 LPA. A total of 23 students were placed and the highest number of students were placed from MSc Computer Science. The students can check the 2024 statistics once the reports are released.

Maharaja Ganga Singh University Bikaner has not released the 2024 and 2023 placement reports. However, the university has established a career counseling and placement cell that provides exposure to the range of job opportunities available for the students in their respective sectors. As per the AQAR report, the highest package offered during MGSU Bikaner placements 2022 was INR 5.71 LPA. The top recruiters during the 2022 placement drive were, Govt AYUSH Wellness Center, Dunes Milk Processing Pvt. Ltd., ASKIN Softech, among others.

MGSU Bikaner offers MSc across various specialisations such as, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Cyber Security, Yoga Studies and Therapy Management, Biotechnology, and others. The seat intake varies depending upon the specialisation chosen by the candidate. For some courses it is 20, however, for others its 40. Students must check the university website to know more about the seat intake, admission procedure, etc. for their desired programme.

MGSU Bikaner provides several UG, PG, Diploma and doctorate courses across different streams such as humanities, law, science, commerce, etc. BCom is one of them. The duration of the course is three years. The eligibility criteria for MGSU BCom admission is Class 12 or equivalent.
