Biochemistry

After doing graduation in biochemistry, one can go for Masters or post-graduation in the same or related fields such as biotechnology, life sciences, etc. Once you have done your post-graduation, you can apply for CSIR-JRF-NET or GATE and after clearing these exams you are eligible for Ph.D. and then you can fill for the post of PhD in different universities. After PhD either you can go for lectureship or research (PostDoc). After your post-graduation you can go for teaching in school. For that you need to have B.Ed degree. After graduation or post-graduation you can try for government jobs such as UPSC, bank jobs, etc. or can work in pharma companies.

B.Pharma is a professional degree in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences it deals with all aspects like Pharmaceutical manufacturing, drug discovery, drug marketing, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoeconomics, pharmaceutical microbiology, Biotechnology, biochemistry, inorganic, organic, physical and medicinal chemistry, Pharmacology, pharmaceutical jurisprudence, acts related to Pharmacy mainly Pharmacy and cosmetics act, medical remedies act, Patent and intellectual property rights, formulations, Mathematics and pharmaceutical calculations also a bit of computer Science. - Meanwhile B.Sc. . is a general Science degree it is not specialised professional programme
- Like a chemistry B.Sc. . degree fetches strong base and knowledge of all aspects of chemistry. Meanwhile B.Pharma won't deal with all aspects it will only deal with chemistry which is needed in Pharmacy field.
