The department of nutrition biology has been commenced in the year 2015 under the umbrella of School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Life Sciences with the aim to impart high-quality education to the students in the field of nutrition biology. The thrust area of research includes assessment of nutritional status of different vulnerable groups, management of nutritional deficiency diseases, nutrition counseling, nutrition in special conditions, nutrient evaluation, development of functional food products and their nutrient estimation, chemical and biochemical assessment of various deficiency disorders, biosafety assessment of fermented foods and nutrigenomics. The department has trained and experienced faculty having a diverse background of nutrition biology. The department got an externally funded research project from SERB/DST (Govt. of India), New Delhi. The department is also involved in extension activities in the adopted villages of CUH for the development of the community/society/nation by imparting nutrition education with knowledge.

Astrobilology can be related to Physics. Physics and relative physics is the mantra. However, you also need to be in constant touch with chemistry, astronomy, biology, molecular biology, ecology, planetary Science, geography, and geology. I suggest study physics in your B.Sc. After completing your B.Sc. You should join any reputed institute for higher studies in Astronomy and then you can specialize in Astrobilology. Please keep in mind that NASA recruits people with outstanding Academic background and some experience in the same field with some research work or so on. So your first milestone is B.Sc. Physics.
