What is Symbiosis Entrance Test SET?

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to Symbiosis institutes. The SET exam is a gateway for admissions to undergraduate courses such as Business Administration, Media Management, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Mass Communication, Economics, Applied Statistics and Data Science, Dual Degree, Sport and Exercise Science. The following is the SET exam eligibility criteria 2026:

The aspirant must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examinations in the relevant streams from a recognised board or university with a minimum 50% aggregate ( 45% for SC/ST category students).
Candidates in Class 12 or awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply but they will have to submit a passing certificate.
A candidate who has completed Class 12 or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SET Admission Process 2026

SET exam 2026 is a three-step process that includes application submission, SET 2026 exam and Personal Interview/Written Ability Test.

The candidates have to apply for the SET exam by filling SET 2026 application form, which will be available online on the official website. They need to register on the SET website as new users. On successful registration, the candidates will get access to the application form. Payment of the application fee of INR 2250 is to be made online only through net banking or by credit/debit card.

STEP 2: Download SET hall ticket

SET admit cards will only be issued to registered students. Admit cards for SET will be available on the official website. The candidates can download their respective admit cards from the official website.

STEP 3: Appear for SET exam 2026
