In order to be eligible for NEET, candidates must pass the qualifying test in each of the following subjects: English, physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and biology. Applicants for BITSAT must have completed coursework in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for their 10+2 standard qualifying exam. These applicants, however, will only be qualified for admission to B.Pharma programmes. Candidates who chose biology in their 10+2 standard test will not be eligible to apply for the engineering entrance exam since BTech/BE admissions require mathematics as a required subject.

An analysis of previous years' results indicates that the biology section of the NEET test is regarded as easy to moderately demanding. Even though the biology section is the most important, it is not that challenging. The questions, according to experts from prominent coaching centres, were based on NCERT. There were a few challenging analytical questions as well. It's expected that NEET 2204 will remain at a similar level of difficulty.
