Bachelor Courses:
Bachelor of Engineering in Genetic Engineering
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Genetic Engineering
B.Sc in Genetic Engineering
After pursuing courses in genetic engineering, you can work in medical and pharmaceutical industries, research and development departments, agricultural sector, genetic engineering firms, chemical companies, etc.

The M.Sc Marine Biology in Pondicherry University, Puducherry (Approved by UGC) is a 5-year duration course and it aims to develop man power in the field of marine biology.
Eligibility: A pass in the B.Sc Degree examination in Life Sciences (Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Fisheries and Aquaculture) with not less than 55% of marks in Part III.
The selection of candidates for admission to the M.Sc Marine Biology programmes will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination only.

Hi Namitha,
Some important topics in biology for IISER entrance exam are:
Ecology and environment, genetics and evolution and reproduction. Questions would be mostly from these topics. It does not mean that you won't get any question outside this. It only means they carry more weightage.
You can also practice the IISER 2018 sample papers. This will help you to get an idea about the kind of questions that are asked from various subjects and topics.

Based on your query, I would like to suggest the following options:
1. You can go with B.Sc (Hons) in your favourite subject followed by M.Sc.
2. You may think for BCA follows by MCA if interested in the software domain.
3. If you are interested in the Engineering domain, think for B.Tech where your math skill is very much useful.
There are so many wings to study, go ahead based on your interest, skill and industry requirement.
