There is no set cutoff as such but the average board percentage lies somewhere around 92% for both the present batches. However, there are people with board scores as low as in the 70s. Ashoka's selection procedure is holistic and lays equal stress on both academics and curriculars. If you have a slightly low score in the boards but are exceptional in curriculars and the admissions team sees that you have potential, you will be selected.

Hi,
No, not all DU colleges accept Biotechnology scores instead of Biology to get admission for B.Sc. Honors in Zoology. Note that there are some colleges that accept Biology scores of class 12th and also entrance exam scores that decide whether you get into Zoology honors or not.

UG Courses - The minimum eligibility for admission in B.Sc. In Zoology is a Class 12 pass in Science Stream. PG Courses - Candidates must have passed B.Sc/B.Sc Hons in Zoology. Ph.D. Programmes -post graduation in relevant discipline with 55percent, (50 percent for SC/ST candidates). .
