BIT Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in relevant stream from a recognised Institute. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in relevant stream of engineering and technology with the above-mentioned minimum percentage (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from AICTE/UGC approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto. Preference will be given to candidates qualified GATE in the relevant branch based on their test scores and the remaining seats will be for candidates qualified in APPGECET as per their merit ranks |

Examination (Class 10th) conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Bhagwant Institute of Technology BIT has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed 3-years Engineering Diploma or passed B.Sc and class 12th with Mathematics and obtained not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in for SC/ST). |
| After 10th Diploma | Candidate must have passed class 10th examination with a minimum of 35% marks from a recognised board/Institute. The minimum age is 14 years as on 1st July 2022, i.e. born on or before 01-07-2009. |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate with grace marks are not allowed for admission. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. |
| ANM | Candidate must be 17 years of age or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. |
| B.Sc. (Post Basic) | Candidates should be registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM). Candidates should possess a three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in the profession (after registration as RNRM). |
