BIT Sindri Admission Process

BIT Sindri offers admission to BTech course through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE). The selection for M.Tech programme is based on GATE score of the aspirants. Besides, the institute conducts a written test/ interview to shortlist aspirants for PhD programmes. Hence, direct admission is not possible at BIT Sindri. Aspirants need to pass selection rounds to get a seat in the institute.

BIT Sindri admissions begin with registration. For MTech and PhD, candidates can fill out the application form on the official website of the institute. Candidates are shortlisted for BTech based on JEE Main score. Aspirants applying for BTech have to fill JEECE counselling form. Once the registration is done, aspirants need to appear for JEECE Counselling. GATE score is considered for admission to M.Tech programme. Aspirants applying for M.Tech can also appear for the entrance exam conducted by the institute. BIT conducts a written test for PhD admission.

For doctoral programmes, the institute conducts its own entrance examination.
