Almost, every institute offers admission for lateral entry same as Birsa Institute of Technology do. BIT conducts separate exam for that and the number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

I have checked and seen some reviews of the students studying in BIT, the current placement of that college is not that good. But the students say it may improve as the time goes.
