BVDU releases the BMAT counselling dates on the official website. Candidates must report at the centre on the given date and time for the BMAT counselling. Failure to report for BMAT 2026 counselling process on the scheduled date and time will result in the instantaneous cancellation of a claim of the candidate to the seat.

Yes. Candidates are advised to check the official BMAT exam pattern before starting their preparation process. This will allow the candidates to understand how the examination will be conducted and accordingly prepare for it.

No, the eligibility criteria for BMAT cannot change. Student must be graduates with a minimum 50% aggregate in any subject from a recognised university and they should have completed 15 years of education.

Candidates who have registered for the BMAT exam and paid the application fee will be issued the admit card. Students can download the same using their login details.

BMAT exam is usually conducted at least twice in a year. The first session of BMAT 2026 exam was held on February 15, 2026. BVDU conducts the BMAT exam for admission to the PGP courses every year in the computer-based test mode.

BMAT 2026 result was released on February 20, 2026. Candidates can check their result using User ID and password.

The BMAT exam is conducted for 150 minutes in the computer-based test mode. There are a total of 200 MCQs spread across six sections of the BMAT question paper. The total marks in BMAT exam are 200 marks. Each question carries one mark each and there is no negative marking. The students will not be negatively marked for unanswered questions.

No, there is age limit to appear for the BMAT exam. The applicant must have however, completed 15 years of formal education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). Student must also be an Indian citizen to be eligible for the BMAT exam.
There is no other domicile criteria. But the students applying for the BMAT exam must fulfil the rest of the BMAT eligibility criteria including the academic qualifications, language requirements, etc.
