To be eligible for B.E. admission at BMS College of Engineering, candidates need minimum 45% aggregate (40% for ST/SC/OBC candidates) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12 and one of Chemistry / Bio Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects.

The eligibility criteria for admission into MBA at BMS College of Engineering is as follows:
- Students must have completed their UG degree from a recognised university
- Students must have atleast 50% in the undergraduation.
- SC or the ST Category students hailing from Karnataka must have atleast 45% in UG
Selection is based on the valid scores in MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET.

No, BMS College of Engineering does not offer direct admission in Government or All India quota seats based on qualifying exam scores. Aspirants applying under Management Quota also need to have accepted entrance exam scores to apply on the college's website. Hence, only meeting eligbility does not guarantee admission. Aspirants must also have any of the accepted entrance exam scores for admission.

The National Merit Scholarship is offered to students of BMS College of Engineering who score 80 marks or more in Class 12 or equivalent exam. The awarding of this scholarship is based on the ministry of human resource development (MHRD). The other fundamental academic and income requirements have to be met by the applicants as well. It is among the most important scholarships which encourage deserving students at the college.

Candidate who have passed BE or BTech degree examination in the relevant discipline and have secured at least 50% aggregate taken together in all the subjects of all the semesters of the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the MTech programme offered at BMS College of Engineering. Minimum eligibility for BMS College of Engineering M.Tech admission is a minimum of 45% marks in qualifying examination for SC, ST and Category-I candidates from Karnataka state.

You must follow BMS College of Engineering eligibility criteria if you want to take admission in the MBA programme. To get admission in the MBA programme, candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree examination from a recognised University and must have obtained minimum 50% aggregate taken together in all the subjects including language subject. SC/ ST or Category-I candidates from Karnataka state must obtain minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here comes the big one!
