I am a telecom engineering student of BMSCE.
if you are confused whether to choose chemical or telecommunication engineering in BMSCE. i would suggest you to choose chemical engineering because
1) very strict department
2) The portions aren't finished on time and most of the time is spent on seminars and open ended experiments
3) they don't award marks easily and these marks really matter as the internal marks sums upto 50 on 100.
about chemical engineering branch in BMSCE

Your question ! This is what I felt before joining the course.
Medical electronics is a specialized discipline which combines both engineering knowledge and skills with biomedical sciences for improving the health care system in hospitals and medical institutions. Cet rank of 5000 to 13000 can be good ,as cutoff is nearly 8000.
This is one of the best courses which deals all the uses of electronics in improving the health care for life threatening diseases.
This also has the advantage of giving knowledge and experience; that of an engineer and a doctor, and BMS is considered to be the one where you learn those experiences.
More fascinating is that engineers from other disciplines also focus on the new medical devices which nobody can't.
So , In medical electronics a bright future is waiting for you.
Good luck
