To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. The private, independent Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Engineering College (BVCEC) was founded in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, in 1997. It is associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, has been authorized by the AICTE, and has received an A+ grade from the NAAC. The college, which offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate engineering and management degrees is run by the BVC Group, which was established by Sri Bonam Kanakayya.
