The paper is a standard one. It has questions on cell biology, molecular biology, physiology, biostatistics, application based questions on molecular biology and biophysical techniques and some questions on zoology and botany. Do your B.Sc. Syllabus properly and you can follow pathfinder life sciences book for CSIR NET and JAM. Maximum number of questions come from molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry and physiology, so if you are thorough with these, I think you can crack the exam. Also try understanding the applications of techniques like SDSPAGE, Blotting, bacterial transformation etc. As questions from these would not be subje

Go for the job in order to gain experience, or else go for M.Sc or MBA or PhD as well.

The decision would be based on your interest areas and long term career plans. If you want to pursue a career in academics / technical /analytics/ research areas then M.Sc. Would be a better option. In M.Sc. As well you have options to explore M.Sc. In Botany as well. However if you want to move into general management / operations side then MBA would be better. You also have the option to go into teaching and for that B.Ed is also an option that you can explore. On the whole you need to take a decision keeping in mind your interest areas & career goals.

Hi
it depends upon what class you want to teach. If you are going for 11th and 12th then physics is necessary with M.Sc/PhD in it. But upto 10th level you can teach the subjects. Please also go through the notification once.
