Students can apply for BMIT's B.E./B.Tech programs by appearing for the JEE Main instead of MHT-CET. IT BHU accepts students who have qualified in the JEE Main and people can register for the CAP counseling using their JEE Main ranks. It opens up another option for students who missed the MHT-CET last year.

Applicants to B.E./B.Tech at BMIT are required to have passed 10+2 schooling with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and obtained a minimum aggregate mark of 50% (45% for reserved positions). MHT-CET and JEE Main are mainly used as criteria for student selection. Cap is run by DTE, Directorate of Technical Education and is used for admitting students into courses.

Brahmdevdada Mane Institute of Technology in Solapur charges tuition fees between 3.06 Lacs to 3.44 Lacs for the 4 years of a B.E./B.Tech program. The fees for the B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering is 3.06 lakh, but other disciplines like Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering may charge a little more or less.

Male and female students on BMIT programs have separate and safe places to live in. Hostels have everything like clean rooms, high-speed internet and messes that offer balanced meals. Students who need on-campus accommodation may choose the hostel, as the annual fee is only about 66,300.

Students must appear for JEE Main or MHT CET and then take part in centralized counseling to get a seat. Applicants for MBA postgraduate programs must own a bachelor's degree and obtain at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) in the entrance exam MAH MBA/MMS CET.

Kai Amdar Brahmdevdada Mane Shikshan Va Sanajik Pratisthan's social & educational organization, has created BMIT. It runs its own shows but is linked to Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University and confirmed by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Because it is private, the institute is able to design specialised courses.

Brahmdevdada Mane Institute of Technology (BMIT) adheres strictly to Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University (PAHSUS) academic calendar which is built around a timetable that typically sees semester exam results announced between 30 to 45 days after completion of the examinations. For example, if a student's exams occur in the months of March-April, exam results would typically be announced by June.

The MHT CET exam is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. It is conducted for all colleges in Maharashtra, not only for Brahmdevdada Mane Institute of Technology. The MHT CET PCB and PCM for admission in 2025 have already been declared on June 17 and June 18, respectively.
