Apply each year to see the updated cutoff scores set for BMCT which depend on the course and category you fall into. In 2024, the MHT CET ended with a closing rank for the General All India Category of 493447. You should remember that different engineering branches and reservation groups have their own cutoff marks. Anyone wanting to register should regularly see the MHT CET counseling website or contact college officials to know the latest cutoff values and how the trend has changed over time.

You need to have a good record as it is moderately competitive to get into the program. The institute checks MHT CET and JEE Main results for candidates applying for B.E./B.Tech. Although the cutoff ranks tend to change from year to year due to the number of applicants and seats open, last year the closing rank for the general all India category of MHT CET was 493447. A good academic track record and excellent exam test scores usually improve a candidate's chances of getting in. Yet, eligible students can get into college using seats reserved in the management quota.

You can directly apply to BMCT using the management quota. Most of the time, students are admitted through MHT CET and JEE Main, but a percentage of seats at the institute is reserved for students given seats through management quota. To be directly selected, candidates must have achieved at least 45% (or 40% for reserved candidates) in their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Lots of scholarships and financial support are available to motivated students from BMIT. Though the institute gives aid to manage costs, 100% scholarships are not available to every student. Normally, students are given scholarships because of their grades, their family's income and other criteria.
