Some of the tips which students starting their first year at the University of the West of England must keep in mind are:

  • Attend the pre-departure briefing before arriving to UWE Bristol. These briefings are usually attended by seniors or alumni, so, make use of the time and opportunity to engage with them to some advices
  • Join clubs and societies as per your interest. As per a student review, UWE Bristol student societies and clubs are well organized and led by really amazing students
  • Utilize the well-equipped library and one can do assignments there to avoid the distraction

As per some of the student reviews over an unofficial source, UWE students can do the following things over the weekends:

  • Join a society that interests you
  • Go out for surfing
  • Go to Church Climbing Centre
  • Check out the museums in the city
  • If the weather is nice, the applicants can head to Ashton Court which is beautiful in Summer or rent a Yobike to enjoy the weather

The University of the West of England admission requirements for the MSc BIM in Design Construction and Operations course are given below:

  • The applicants require an Honors degree of 2.2 or above in a built environment subject, or in a different subject, with built environment experience. If anyone does not meet this requirement, then, they are required to have at least 12 months relevant professional experience and / or equivalent qualifications
  • Personal statement 
  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall with 5.5 in each component or approved equivalent
