btech Eligibility

The selection criteria at Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT, Mangalore) for B.E. / B.Tech course:

1. Scores on entrance tests such as JEE Main, KCET, or COMEDK are the main factor used to determine admission.
2.  In mathematics, physics, and one elective, candidates must fulfil the minimal requirements for eligibility.

For taking admission in Dr. D.Y. Patil Collage Of Engineering And Innovation for B.E. and B.Tech, the student must give JEE or MHT-CET exam through which they can get admission in nine different streams which are provided by the college. The overall cut off rank for JEE Mains for general category is ranged between 74770-344473 and for MHT-CET overall rank for general category is ranged from 87 to 92 percent .

To be considered fit to take BTech at SRMGPC, students must have achieved at least 45 percentage marks of Class 12 (40 percentage marks by reserved category). They ought to have taken Physics and Mathematics as majors. To be selected, a valid UPSEE score is necessary. At SRMGPC, admissions are according to the AKTU rules.

The selection is based on MH CET ( for Maharashtra students )and JEE Mains ( for other states students )  score. The admissions are further don through CAP councelling on the Maharashtra CET cell website . The students also need to have 45% in 12th PCM to be eligible to get admission in the college. The admission is based on rank and preference.

It is based on Class 12 marks, and no entrance exam is conducted.
