Candidate seeking admission in the Institute through WBJEE or JEE MAIN examination with valid rank and required marks in '10+2' level or equivalent examination from any recognised Board / University are eligible to apply.

In all B.Tech courses, 90% students of approved intake capacity will be admitted on the basis of merit position secured by the candidate in the Joint Entrance Examination of the State (WBJEE).

Students on the basis of merit position in JEE MAIN may also be admitted up to 10% of total intake.

Aspirants with a valid score in MHT CET can also get admission provided they also fulfils the eligibility requirements. Candidates must complete Class 12 with PCM/ PCMB with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) for admission.

Besides, selection in BTech Lateral programmes is based on the qualifying exam scores of the candidate. Once selected, candidates can participate in CAP with a valid score in the entrance exam.
