The VIT Pune cutoff 2024 was announced for JEE Main with the release of the final cutoff list. The cutoff was released as the opening and closing ranks for admission to the BE/BTech, courses. During the VIT Pune BE/BTech cutoff 2024, the last-round closing ranks ranged between 24786 and 93134 for the General AI category students. Of all the BE/BTech specialisations, the one that faced fierce competition was B.Tech. in Computer Engineering. The first round cutoff rank for the same stood at 23026

VIT-Pune BTech admission is mainly based on MHT CET exams. However, the Institute offers management quota seats for the BTech course. A 20% quota seat is set aside for management, and branch-specific capitation fees apply to B.Tech students.
It's important to keep in mind that in order to get admitted, a student must have appeared in the MH-CET or JEE Mains and have a higher than 50% HSC percentage, including PCM Group.

For BTech admission to the VIT Pune BTech course, candidates must complete the admission procedure of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, also known as MHT CET. The MHT CET admission process is inclusive of the application process, exam, result, merit lists, seat allocations, and final admission. Yes, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology offers merit-based admission to BTech courses. Candidates are required to complete the eligibility criteria and apply on the official website of the college for admission. The eligibility criteria are to pass Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised board. After all the procedures, the college offers direct admission based on the last qualifying exam scores. score. If candidates get shortlisted based on merit, they are required to pay the admission fee to secure their seat.

Yes, admission dates are tenatively out for the BTech course at VIT Pune. The BTech dates are inclusive of accepting exam dates, such as dates related to MHT CET exams and JEE Main exams. The dates mainly include application, exam dates, result dates, merit list dates, counselling dates, and more.

MHT CET 2026 exam dates have been tenatively announced. The CET Cell will conduct the first MHT CET PCM exam 2026 from April 11 to 19, 2026, while the PCB exam will be held from April 21 to 26, 2026. The exam schedule has been tenatively announced on the website.

VIT Pune BTech admission is subject to Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or JEE Main scores. Candidates with a valid score in the mentioned exams must participate in the MHT CEt counselling roudns for seat allocations. The allotment of BTech seats will be based on position in the MHT CET merit list 2025. Candidates who will be allotted seats have to confirm their admission online by paying the seat confirmation fees and reporting to the allotted institute.

VIT Pune BTech course duration is four years, which consists of eight semesters. However, candidates can complete the BTech course in three years in the lateral-entry admission. Candidates are offered admission from the second semester onwards for the BTech lateral-entry course. The course duration is three years and has six semesters.
