The allocation of IIIT Pune BTech seats are subject to the rules of reservation. As per the IIIT Pune reservation policy, a total of 20% of the total seats are reserved for BTech admissions. The seat reservation breakdown for the SC/ST category is as follows:

  • 13% seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Caste converts to Buddhism (SC)
  • 7% of the seats have been reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST)

In terms of fees, IIT Pune is better choice. It is more affordable. The feess for IIIT Pune is INR 4.8 LPA whereas the for and Xavier Institute it is Rs 5.5 lakh.
