BUMAT 2026 counselling will be conducted in July 2026. The candidate will be offered admission based on their rank in the final merit list, the score obtained in the BUMAT exam, and the availability of seats for a particular programme at the candidate's chosen Institute at the time of BUMAT counselling and admission to the desired programme and Institute. Mere appearance in the computer centre-based entrance test and inclusion of name in BUMAT merit list does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the institute. BUMAT results 2026 will be declared in last week of June 2026. On release of the BUMAT results, candidates must ensure the following details are mentioned on the scorecard:
- Candidate's name
- Course name
- Merit Number
- Roll number
- BUMAT 2026 marks/score
- Status
In case of any discrepancy in the BUMAT scorecard, candidates must immediately contact at the helpline number of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)

BUMAT 2026 counselling dates will be announced at bvuniversity.edu.in. BUMAT 2026 results will be declared in third week of June 2026. Candidates must ensure to carry the required documents on the day of the counselling. Table below will be updated soon after the release of the BUMAT counselling dates:

BUMAT 2026 exam will be conducted tentatively in second week of June. Candidates who will register for the exam will be able to appear for the BUMAT exam. The examination for Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) UG 2026 admissions will be held in computer based mode. Candidates had to report at the alloted exam centre. BUMAT exam was conducted for a duration of 120 minutes. As per the BUMAT exam pattern, the question paper consists of 200 multiple choice questions. To appear for the BUMAT counselling process, candidates must keep the following documents ready:
- Letter of counselling
- Proof of date of birth
- School Leaving Certificate
- Class X mark sheet
- Class XII mark sheet
- Graduation mark sheet
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Anti-ragging undertaking
- Gap certificate ( if applicable)
- Character certificate
- Certificate of Medical Fitness
- Caste Certificate ( if applicable)
- An affidavit (available in the brochure) signed by the candidate and countersigned by the parent/guardian
- Six recent passport-size photos with the candidate’s name written on the backside

Soon after the declaration of BUMAT results, candidates will have to appear for the counselling process. If the candidate has obtained well in BUMAT exam and have met the eligibility criteria, he/she will be called for the counselling process by various institutions accpeting BUMAT scores. Candidates will have to fill the application form for the institute they are interested in. Candidates will be required to submit the relevant documents to appear for the counselling process. BUMAT 2026 results will be declared online. The BUMAT 2026 scorecard is available for download on the official website- bvuniversity.edu.in, for a limited period. Candidates must obtain their BUMAT mark sheets within the time limit as admission will be granted to those who will present the mark sheet at the time of Counselling. The BUMAT 2026 scorecards can also be obtained from the admissions offices at the main campus (Pune) and designated centres at Navi Mumbai and New Delhi. In case candidate score equal aggregate marks in BUMAT exam then their ranking will be determined on the basis of following order of preference:
- If equal marks, the candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks obtained at HSC or its equivalent examination
- If equal marks, the candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored at SSC or its equivalent examination
- When all the above scores are the same, the candidates will be ranked on the basis of computerized random numbering
