Soil Institute of Management offers MBA programme through CAT and other related examinations. Specifically for CAT, the MBA percentile stood at 75 for the General AI category candidates. So, it is difficult for the candidates to secure a place at Soil Institute of Management with a percentile of 70 via CAT exam.

For admission to an MBA in Business Economics course, a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a related field such as Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a quantitative discipline is needed most of the times. 

Some universities might require standardized test scores such as XAT, CAT, and CMAT.

Soil Institute of Management accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, and CMAT scores for PGDM admissions. The 2024 PGDM cutoff for CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, and NMAT exam stood at 75 percentile, 70 percentile, 95 percentile, 95 percentile and 210 score for General AI category candidates. While taking into consideration the CAT cutoff, as per the year-wise trend, the expected cutoff can stood the same at 75 for the General AI category candidates in 2025.
